Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

This event is for adult parents, grandparents, caregivers and educators. However, those with nursing infants are welcome to bring babies in carriers. Bring your id to the event so that we can match you to your registration information.

Where should we park?

Parking is available on Booksin Avenue alongside the church property, or in the northern most parking lot. When parking in the north lot, follow the sidewalk across the small field and around to the right to the main sanctuary entrance. Greeters will be on hand to point people in the right direction. Consider bringing a small flashlight as the pathway can be dark at night.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

There will be tea, coffee and cookies available in the lobby. Food and drinks are not allowed in the main room (the sanctuary). However, you may bring outside food (especially for those who don't have time for dinner); just make sure it stays in the lobby.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Feel free to contact SCVC's President, Kasia Murdoch atscvcrep@explorerpreschool.org or by cell 510-710-0479. You can also use the "CONTACT ORGANIZER" button on this site.

Can I update my registration information?

You may update your registration information anytime by logging into Eventbrite.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do not need to bring your ticket to the event if we have your name. We will have a list of ticket holder names and tickets at check-in.

What is the refund policy?

No refund needed as the event is free to SCVC Member Preschool families, staff, alumni and their guests.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Yes, tickets are transferrable. Please inform us at check-in of your name and school affiliation and whose ticket you are using. Or alter that information online prior to coming.
