SCVC is an association of cooperative (parent participation) nursery schools in Silicon Valley. It is a branch of the statewide California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools (CCPPNS).

Our Mission

SCVC strives to support high quality nursery schools, to help schools educate the parents, to share solutions for common challenges and questions, to raise awareness about our schools within the community and to grow the parent participation preschool community.

What We've Achieved

CCPPNS hosts a yearly conference for parents and educators that is very unique. It’s a weekend of inspiring workshops and a very exciting opportunity to hear experts speak on early childhood education topics.

In 2015, SCVC was a proud sponsor of the wonderfully successful CCPPNS’ 66th annual convention “Unplug and Play.”
In 2016, SCVC co-sponsored with one of our schools, Explorer Parent Participation Preschool, to host Heather Shumaker for a wonderful, eye opening presentation.

In 2017, SCVC will co-sponsor with Foothill college CCPPNS’ 68th annual convention “Early Childhood and Parenting Conference.”
