Winter Wonderland Auction: On Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm. The Silent Auction will be accessible online before, during, and after the in-person event again this year. 🎉 Fall is here, and we're excited to welcome you to Mountain Schools' Annual Turkey Trot Fun Run! It's our fall community and fundraising event of and we want you to be there. 🎉
Join us for fun fall activities, including sensory bins, turkey pinecones, decorating your wheels and race bibs for the fun run, playing at the park, grabbing a snack, and browsing this season's Buy-a-Spot offerings.
Tickets for this event include participation in the fun run. Each lap around the park is 1/4 mile. All participants are welcome to run, walk, skip, dance, ride, stride, or scooter their way around. Our school staff will be stationed along the route to cheer everyone on, offer high-fives, and hand out stickers!
Every registration for this event will bring us closer to achieving our mission of providing outstanding, nature and play-based early childhood education to children and families in the Bay Area. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all.

The 2026 California Council for Parent Participation Nursery Schools Annual Convention is coming to Santa Clara Valley on March 6th and 7th, 2026. The 77th Annual CCPPNS Convention will be held at the Embassy Suites Milpitas. This 2-day convention brings together parents and educators from across California for keynote speakers, breakout sessions with leading parenting and early childhood experts, local vendors, CCPPNS annual awards ceremony, and much more. We hope to see you there!
Join us for a messy playdate at Discovery Parent-Child Preschool! This event is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at Discovery Parent-Child Preschool(1919 Gunston Way San Jose, CA 95124) from 10AM to 12PM.
Almaden Parent Participate Preschool (APPS) will have Georgie Wisen-Vincent, author and nationally recognized Play Therapy expert presenting using specific, deliberate, playful interactions with our children to help foster healthy development and future resilience without spending a large amount of our already busy time.
This event will be free and open to the community. APPS will be offering free tickets on Eventbrite to ensure they stay within building capacity.
